Linda and Will had the most idyllic backyard Catskills wedding in Roxbury, NY. We love fall weddings, especially when the leaves are at peak color. Linda and Will had such a wonderful backdrop for their outdoor ceremony with pops of color everywhere!

They tied the knot in special place that Will and his family have been going to for years. It’s always so cool when a couple gets married in a place that is sentimental to them!

Guests were wowed by the scenic mountains behind the ceremony and Wyckoff’s Florist knocked it out of the park with their rustic wedding arbor. The arbor, made of bent birch wood, was decorated with garlands of greenery, fall flowers, and red maple leaves. After the vows, guests were invited into the tent for dinner and dancing.

Linda and Will reached out to us after seeing our pictures from a mutual friend’s Shelter Island wedding. It’s always so funny to see some of the same guests at different weddings, but after ten years photographing weddings, it happens more than you’d think!

Linda and Will had a great crew of family and friends that helped out with the big day! Whether it was setting up the reception tent or wiping down wet chairs after a quick rainstorm, everyone was there to offer help.

This wedding had so many unique, multicultural elements. Linda is Chinese and incorporated red double happiness hanging lanterns as part of the reception decor. She also wore a traditional Chinese dress for the reception, custom made by Kelima K. Guests also received personalized chopsticks with the wedding date engraved.

Fall weddings in upstate New York can come with a chill, but Linda was prepared! She wore a cozy fur stole after the reception to keep warm, plus it looked awesome in photos.  :)
