ABOUT US
HELLO,
We’re Katie & Max
Congrats on the engagement! It’s an exciting time and we appreciate you checking out our site in between the venue visits, catering tastings, and everything else that comes with planning a wedding.
If you’re into bright, happy photos that don’t feel forced, you’re in the right place! We specialize in capturing the genuine joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments that make your wedding day truly unforgettable. Our goal is to tell the authentic story of your celebration through beautiful, timeless images.
It’s probably no surprise to you that we started as photojournalists working for newspapers. We are storytellers at heart and have en eye for moments.
Telling your wedding day story is what we do. It’s the happy tears, the look on your bestie’s face, the wild dancing, and everything in between.
It’s the moments that make the day remarkable.
OUR
Story
Our first wedding was way back in the fall of 2009. We were living in a tiny cabin on a pond in New Hampshire. Katie was working as a staff photographer at a newspaper and Max was at a design agency building websites. When a friend’s sister asked us to photograph her wedding, we said, why not?!
Truth be told we were pretty nervous. But it didn’t take long to find out that photographing a huge party is pretty incredible. The following year we launched an official website and photographed a handful of weddings. Word spread and more and more couples began booking us for weddings.
By year three, things were in full swing and we booked 34 weddings throughout New England. That’s when we both took the leap from day jobs and finally embraced our dream job.
It’s been 15 years now and we haven’t looked back!

WORKIN’ IT
Meet Katie
Katie’s contagious smile and eternal optimism light up any room. A true adventurer at heart, she craves the outdoors and hidden trails to explore along with Max and their two boys, Jack and Charlie.
When she’s not spending time outdoors, she can be found covered in clay at the pottery studio or in her backyard garden.
Meet Max
A self-proclaimed music history enthusiast (nerd), Max loves learning about and collecting vintage rock t-shirts that are older than he is.
When he’s not behind the camera, you might find him exploring the great outdoors foraging for wild mushrooms.
Fueled by a steady stream of podcasts and non-fiction reads, Max is a walking history buff who’s been a professional photographer since his high school days.
