Manchester by the Sea Engagement Photo Session in October

This Manchester by the Sea engagement photo session was like something out of a dream! Emily and Josh live in Beverly, MA and knew of some super picturesque locations for their North Shore engagement session in October. There was a super dense fog over the ocean during the shoot, and we kept saying how everything felt like a movie set! 

After exploring the rocky coastline of the Coolidge Reservation, we headed to the Masconomo Park in downtown Manchester for some photos on the pier. Emily and Josh were naturals in front of the camera! We are already so excited to document their backyard wedding in Cape Ann next year!

We always love photographing couples in the same town where they currently live, or in this case, grew up! Emily and Josh knew about so many secret spots around Manchester, MA that we really felt like we were on an insider tour of the town. One of our favorite spots was Masconomo Park. At first glance, this just seems like your standard city park with a green space, a baseball field, and a gazebo. If you walk to the furthest parking area of the park though, you’ll find this hidden little wooden pier you can walk out on. We loved this spot for engagement photos with the surrounding moored boats and foggy coastline views!
