Kim and Kevin’s rustic wedding at the Equinox Pond Pavilion in Manchester, VT felt like the most quintessential Vermont wedding ever, and the location somehow looked exactly like the woodsy spot where the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed! The Equinox Hotel is an absolutely gorgeous venue in downtown Manchester, but if you’re looking for something a bit more secret garden-esque, there’s a path behind the majestic Equinox that winds up a hill to this stunning covered pavilion in the woods, and built right next to a pond.
The reception decorations at this wedding were reminiscent of the pages of a Real Simple magazine… pops of color with clean and bright design. Kim used her graphic design expertise to create a unique escort card table using kraft paper pennants and vintage stamped postcard style table numbers on jars. Her rustic designs on paper paired incredibly well with the romantic Blomma Flicka floral creations of coral and pink flowers and trailing greens over burlap on every table.
I think our favorite part of this wedding was the portraits of Kim and Kevin in front of the backdrop of Green Mountains. These two seemed so effortlessly romantic around each other, just photographing them walking along the pond path was easy. We know they have lots of big things coming up in the future, and we wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors. ;)
