Scot & Amber’s White Mountain Hotel Wedding in Conway, NH
We loved every minute of Scot and Amber’s White Mountain Hotel wedding in Conway, NH. This area of New England is beautiful year-round, but I think our favorite season for weddings in this area has to be the fall. The White Mountain Hotel was a new venue to us, but was the perfect spot for Scot and Amber. There were plenty of rooms to get ready in, and the mountain backdrop for their intimate ceremony was breathtaking. It seemed fitting that Scot and Amber would tie the knot surrounded by mountains; they spent most of their weekends at the beginning of their relationship hiking and snowshoeing! Scot surprised Amber with an engagement ring while hiking at Sleeping Giant. She said yes, and instead of the usual snacks in the backpack, he brought champagne!
Here are some of our favorite photos from this White Mountain Hotel wedding, along with some portraits at the nearby Cathedral Ledge. More details on this wedding below the photos!
After Amber and Scot’s outdoor wedding in the field below the White Mountain Hotel, we headed to the nearby Cathedral Ledge Park for portraits. This area is a popular rock climbing spot, and the views from the top of Cathedral Ledge were incredible. Amber brought along a cozy blanket to wrap up in for pictures–something we always recommend for fall weddings!
One of the things that instantly stood out at this wedding was the organic and neutral decor at the reception. It was clear that a lot of thought and energy had gone into the design of the space, yet it felt so clean and modern. Amber, like most brides, said she was always looking for good deals while planning the wedding. She suggested looking at Save On Crafts for other couples trying to go DIY on decor! We loved the vintage style medicine bottles filled with maple syrup by East Mountain Maple as guest favors. The woodcut cake topper by Wedding Pros with this couple’s initials was also a lovely modern touch. Guests were treated to custom burlap welcome bags with all kinds of thoughtful NH themed goods. Maple syrup candies, roasted nuts, and even a moose keychain was in the bags!
Congratulations to Scot and Amber… we wish you the best in all of your future adventures as husband and wife. :)
