Gould Barn Rehearsal Dinner – Topsfield, MA
I had a wonderful time documenting Ashley and Matt’s Gould Barn rehearsal dinner. Their wedding was held at the historic Crane Estate venue, so this barn was the perfect spot for a casual and relaxing night before the big day! Ashley and Matt had the nicest friends and family. I can honestly say that before this night, I have never had a father of the bride make me a dessert plate (and oh my gosh, am I am so glad he did!). :)

More about this Gould Barn Rehearsal Dinner…
Most rehearsal dinners are held indoors, but the Gould Barn had a great set up for outdoor seating. Cafe lights were strung above tables, creating a super romantic vibe… but let me answer the question that everyone is going to ask after seeing these photos. WHO DID THE FLOWERS?!? The Ford Flower Co., based in Salem, NH truly outdid themselves with this wedding weekend. Flower crowns with air plants (that’s right, I said air plants!) adorned Ashley and her bridesmaids for the evening. Guests entered the barn under a stunning garland of cascading ferns and eucalyptus draped over the barn doorway. The table decor was kept simple, with succulents and herb planters in pewter and ceramic vases.
Francie with 42 North Weddings coordinated a quick run through of the wedding ceremony. Afterwards, guests were treated to a traditional clambake dinner by Ipswich Clambake while listening to the sweet sounds of the Ladles play stringed instruments! This was the perfect way to kick off Ashley and Matt’s wedding weekend on the North Shore of MA.
