There is something about the rocky coast of Maine that has a rustic beauty you just have to see in person. Max and I love this area so much, it’s where we went on our “foodie honeymoon” two years ago! Jenn and Anthony decided to have their wedding at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.

With it’s sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and lush green hills, we’ve been excited about this wedding from the first phone call with Jenn over a year ago! These two lucked out with a day full of gorgeous natural light and perfect weather.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was the incredibly unique and Pinterest-worthy wedding cake by Sweet Sensations & 3 Dogs Cafe. This cake was an ocean-toned ombre masterpiece, and it even had a sugar sculpted frilly flower perched on top. The candy-loving kid in me also couldn’t help falling in love with their idea to surround the cake with (very realistic!) candy rocks. Amazing.

From a ceremony overlooking a sea of sailboats, to portraits of the bride and groom below a super moon, this wedding was simply magical and we loved every minute of it.
