Hyo & Tim’s Wolfeboro NH Wedding on Lake Wentworth

We are so excited to share some of our favorite photos from Hyo and Tim’s Wolfeboro NH wedding on Lake Wentworth! Hyo and Tim hosted their summer wedding ceremony outside the backyard of Tim’s family property. Tim has spent summers on Lake Wentworth since he was three years old. We can only imagine what it would feel like to tie the knot in a place full of so many childhood memories!

This wedding truly felt like it was set in nature. Using birch trees from behind his family’s cabin, Tim built the rustic wood wedding arbor. Guests were treated to scenic views with rippling water, as kayakers on the lake paddled closer for a view of the bride and groom! After the ceremony, Hyo and Tim held hands as they walked down dirt roads and kissed under towering trees. We could have photographed this couple in the woods until the sun went down! Huge thanks to Mindy with Private Weddings & Events for helping with all of the planning and design, it was so wonderful to finally work with this great coordinator!  :)

After their outdoor lakeside ceremony, guests were invited to the reception at the Inn on Main in Wolfeboro. This was such a cozy place for an indoor reception that still felt rustic. We loved all of the modern table decorations at this wedding. Hyo actually made the concrete signs mounted on wood blocks! Twinkle lights were strung from what seemed like every corner of the room, really giving a warmth to this space!

Both Hyo and Tim’s families are from Korea. During the heartfelt speeches, we learned that so many guests had come from all over the world. What a beautiful way to begin a marriage. It’s clear that these two have such a dedicated network of friends and family at their side!

We love photographing all of the unique moments that tell the story of the wedding day, but I have to be honest–one of my favorite things to photograph is the dancing. And the dancing at this reception felt like Christmas morning to me. I could not stop laughing from behind my camera at the moves these folks were coming up with on the dance floor. From the random straw hat props that appeared, to the constant act of lifting people up in the air, this group was WILDLY fun to photograph! Congrats to Hyo and Tim on becoming husband and wife. We were honored to document your day!
