Windsor Mansion Wedding in Vermont – Laura & Anthony
Laura and Anthony’s Windsor Mansion wedding in VT was bursting with color. These two must have picked the perfect October weekend for peak fall foliage! This was our first time documenting a wedding at this historic Vermont wedding venue. Built in the late 1800’s, this property has been visited by Presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge and Woodrow Wilson!
Laura and Anthony first met back in 2004 while they were working at Big Y! They dated for a while, and then ended up going different directions. Seven years later, they crossed paths again and the rest is history. These two had an effortless way about them on the wedding day. Looking through some of our favorite photos below, the constant smiling on their faces tells the story of just how incredibly happy these two were to tie the knot!
More about this Windsor Mansion Wedding…
Set on eleven acres of expansive fields and forests, this Vermont wedding venue was a dream to photograph. Laura and Anthony were up for exploring the property with us to find the best backdrops we could for portraits… but we never had to go far. It seemed like in every direction, there was a perfect photo opportunity!
Michelle with Petals Floral Design did an incredible job using trailing garlands of greenery to give a fresh garden feel to the tented reception space. The modern metal LOVE table centerpiece on the sweetheart table was one of our favorites, and guests oohed and ahhed over the stunning wedding cake. We loved the raw figs around the cake, adding color and organic style.
Thanks to Laura and Anthony for sharing such a magical day with us… we wish you guys the best in your future adventures!
