Vintage Wedding Photography – Lilac Inn, Brandon VT – Liza & Jason
We recently photographed our first wedding at the Lilac Inn in Brandon, VT… and as if we needed to add another enchanting New England town to our list of favorites, yep, we’ve found another one. With tiny general stores and locally-owned businesses that look like they’ve been there forever, Brandon immediately felt like the town you wished you grandma lived in.
We love photographing backyard ceremonies and rustic woodsy barn weddings, but if you’ll have lots of guests in from out of town for your big day, it does seem like a nice perk for guests to have a quaint little town to stroll through when they aren’t attending wedding festivities. Just another thing to consider when planning your big day… ;)
Jason and Liza’s wedding seemed to fit right in with the loveliness of Brandon, VT. Liza strung up purple and white paper lanterns around the venue, and she did ALL of the flowers herself. She submerged calla lilies in tall clear vases, and then filled them with water for a sort of floral sculpture centerpiece. They looked stunning! Calla lilies also lined the ceremony aisle and added a classy, but rustic flair to the day. We were honored to document this small-town and DIY inspired wedding… congrats Liza and Jason!
