Waitsfield VT Wedding at the Lareau Farm Inn
This Waitsfield VT wedding at the Lareau Farm Inn felt like the perfect fall wedding. It’s no surprise that our busiest time of the year in New England is during the fall. There are so many things to love about this time of year, and Kim and Dan’s September wedding had it all–maple syrup, bonfires, and even a super moon! This little farm in the heart of the Mad River Valley in Waitsfield is one of our favorite venues to photograph, and we’re so glad that Kim and Dan felt the same way!
More about this Waitsfield VT wedding at Lareau:
Almost all of our brides choose to carry some sort of wedding bouquet. Kim’s eco-friendly bouquet was unique though. It is by far, one of our favorites so far. The bouquet itself was created by one of her bridesmaids. She used the pages of Kim’s favorite book, Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. The pages of the book were folded into paper flowers which made up the bouquet. What an incredibly meaningful thing to carry on your wedding day!
After Kim and Dan’s shared their vows during their outdoor ceremony behind the Inn, guests were treated to a traditional pig roast for dinner. Small bottles of maple syrup served as both seating cards and the guest favors, and the table centerpieces were created from rough-sewn tree slices and succulents in handmade pottery vases. Everything about this wedding had a warmth to it that was so inviting and cozy, especially on a crisp fall day. Congratulations to Kim and Dan! We were honored to spend such a special day with you both!
