The Study at Yale - Vintage Wedding Photography

Colleen and Mark’s wedding at the New Haven Lawn Club in CT was filled with family, close friends, a decadent candy bar, and some pretty amazing dance moves. ;) These two chose The Study at Yale to prepare for the big day, and with sweeping views of the New Haven skyline and gorgeous natural light… they couldn’t have chosen a more picturesque spot. Max and I are always overwhelmed with the honor of documenting the day when two people who are crazy in love come out and share their vows to each other in front of friends and family, but for me… this wedding was closer to home than most.

I’ve known Colleen for almost all of her life–her big sister was my best friend growing up. To be there to witness Colleen and Mark tying the knot, along with what still feels like my second family, felt… magical. And in a way, made me feel like a kid again… but a kid who was finally able to give something back to the family that gave so much to me all those years ago. So, thank you, to the MacLean’s for everything, and to Colleen and Mark for trusting Max and I to document the moments of your very memorable wedding day. ;)
