Louisa and Alex had a lovely rustic barn wedding at the Brooksby Farm Smith Barn in Peabody, MA.  The pure joy on Louisa’s face was contagious, and I found my own face sore from smiling after their moving ceremony!  The Smith Barn is the perfect rustic venue, and with it’s surrounding apple orchards and grapevine trellises it feels like you are in the middle of the country… but really, it’s only a short drive north of Boston.

With handmade details like an “I do, We did” sign, and personalized escort cards and table names, Louisa and Alex incorporated DIY elements that really reflected who they are.  Louisa’s grandmother also gave her a small wooden box that said, “For the Bride & Groom”, that was given to her 63 years ago on her own wedding day.  That’s right, her grandparents have been married for 63 years!!  So amazing!  The box made the perfect prop to photograph their rings in… We were honored to document this wedding that was brimming with emotion.  Congrats Louisa and Alex, we wish you guys the best!
