Tong and Dustin’s intimate backyard wedding in Lebanon, NH was so much fun. Plus, how cool is it to say you were married in your own backyard?! Transforming a backyard into a small wedding location is perfect if you are hosting an intimate wedding. This couple even had a waterfall nearby that made for unique woodsy portraits of Tong and Dustin and their wedding party.

When Tong first reached out to us about documenting her wedding, we couldn’t help but feel like a perfect fit. We obviously love intimate backyard weddings and after living in NH for five years, it still feels like home to us. Having an intimate wedding like this one means that you really do get to spend time with each and every guest. Their friends and family clearly had a great time celebrating with these two! During dinner, so many folks were able to give toasts to Tong and Dustin, which made for some really wonderful candid photos.

There were so many little details at this wedding that were such great ideas! Tong wore an adorable pair of baby blue Hunter rain boots for the first look by the creek. Dustin held their dog Brownie, a long haired dachshund, as he saw Tong in her dress for the first time. I think Dustin’s groomsmen gifts are the coolest and most functional we’ve ever seen. He gave them Pendleton socks, a beautiful Opinel knife and of course the floral ties they all wore. Tong wore a sparkly crown throughout the day, really taking advantage of the one day in your life after age 6 that you can do this!
