Meghan and Eric’s Rustic Western Mass Wedding at Warfield House
Meghan and Eric hosted their rustic Western Mass wedding at the Warfield House Inn. This venue is part of the Berkshire East Resort and you can even see the ski slopes from the outdoor ceremony site! We love this venue for all of it’s quintessential New England charm (and also because it’s practically in our backyard). Meghan and Eric live in nearby Greenfield, MA, so this was a local venue for them too.
I was so lucky to spend time with Meghan and Eric last summer for their Bridge of Flowers engagement session in Shelburne. These two share such a contagious quirky sense of humor and they are just plain fun to hang out with. I knew their wedding day would be relaxed with lots of laughs. One of my favorite things about this wedding was how many local vendors were included in the day. Their caterer was Wheelhouse, who deserves their delectable reputation. They also had the MOST incredible desserts by Bernardston’s Sweet Lucy’s Bakeshop. Seriously, I now have to stop by that bakery once a week to buy a chocolate mousse bomb.
One of our favorite things about photographing weddings is seeing a couple’s community surround them in celebration. It’s clear that Meghan and Eric really value their community. So much, that Meghan actually ceded some of their portrait time to another couple at the wedding who had experienced a rough year. Meghan wanted to make sure they had a few nice pictures of the two of them, and we were happy to oblige. It was just such a clear example of the kind of inspiring people Meghan and Eric are.
Congratulations to these happily married folks who are back just in time from their Colorado honeymoon to see all of these pictures! Just scroll down to see all of our favorites from this homegrown wedding in Western MA…
