RI Wedding Photographer - Documentary - Dreamlove Photo in RI, MA, VT

Gabrielle and Chris had a beautiful Rhode Island wedding, despite the forecasted Nor’Easter! As a RI wedding photographer, we know to prepare for all kinds of weather on the wedding day… but knowing this wedding was at the historic Linden Place Mansion, I didn’t worry a bit. There couldn’t have been a more perfect venue for inclement weather. This 1800’s estate has so many gorgeous places for pictures. Gabrielle and Chris even ventured out into the 40 MPH winds for a few outdoor photos!

Although we have photographed several weddings in Rhode Island, this was only our second wedding at the Linden Place. We love this venue for it’s unique museum feel. There are antiques everywhere, and guests really enjoy exploring the property.

Although the winds kept Gabrielle and Chris from having an outdoor ceremony, this venue has a very cozy second option. Guests were happy to stay warm and dry in the ballroom while Gabrielle’s brother officiated the most heartfelt ceremony. Gabrielle and Chris agreed that the ceremony was their favorite part of the day. “It was funny and sentimental and overall amazing. So many ceremonies now a days are so simple and quick. It was important for us to have our ceremony be about our love for each other and why.”

After the ceremony guests enjoyed dinner, miniature apple pies for dessert, and lots of wild dancing.
