Rehearsal Dinner Photography – Equinox Pond Pavilion – Manchester, VT

When couples add rehearsal coverage to their photography package, they are getting much more than an additional collection of event photos. It also gives us a chance to get to know the couple, and their families much better! We are very comfortable helping folks feel at ease in front of our cameras, but it’s always nice when we have the chance to get to know guests prior to the big day!

When Kelsey and Scott mentioned that they wanted to add rehearsal dinner photography coverage to their wedding package, we couldn’t help but giggle. In seven years of documenting weddings, we’ve photographed a handful of rehearsal dinners. Lately though, couples are adding rehearsal coverage on like it’s going out of style! We love the opportunity to document candid moments during all of the speeches. It’s also a great time to capture photos of families and old friend groups.

The Equinox Pond Pavilion is a hidden gem behind the stately Equinox Resort in Manchester, VT. This venue is the perfect place for a more rustic rehearsal dinner or wedding. An inconspicuous gravel road to bring guests up to the the pavilion. After following a meandering path along the pond guests are surprised with the picturesque screened-in porch pavilion.

We loved the simple theme of rosemary throughout the rehearsal dinner. From the place cards to the decor, rosemary sprigs and succulents seemed like the perfect fit for this romantic setting. Guests had a great time mingling and chatting before being entertained by a number of heartfelt and hilarious speeches (at times with dueling Godparents involved). Looking forward to sharing more from this lovely weekend in the mountains of Vermont!
