Odiorne Point State Park Coastal Engagement Photography – Rye, NH – Meaghan & Bobby
When Meaghan emailed us and said that she wanted to do her outdoor engagement photos at Odiorne State Park on the seacoast in Rye, NH, I immediately had a million ideas for the shoot. New Hampshire doesn’t have much coastline, but what it does have is absolutely gorgeous. From the picturesque New England rocky beaches to old stone walls, Odiorne Point (home to the Seacoast Science Center) has the perfect variety of spots for rustic portraits. What we hadn’t planned on was the rain. It literally rained the entire time we were shooting.
In the beginning, we had thoughts of booking it over to Portsmouth to try to find some indoor areas for pictures, but Meaghan and Bobby were totally up for grabbing umbrellas and getting their feet wet for pictures. I think staying at Odiorne and shooting in the rain was the best idea ever, and their photos turned out incredibly unique and in my humble opinion, downright lovely! I think the four of us made the best lemonade that could ever be made from lemons! Oh, and we saw a SEAL at the end of the shoot! So….. that’s a first. ;)
Huge thanks to Meaghan and Bobby who proved that a positive attitude can make all of the difference in the world. Hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed shooting them!!
