Myopia Hunt Club Wedding in Hamilton, MA – Emily & Tom
Emily and Tom’s Myopia Hunt Club wedding was blast! This amazing North Shore location was established in 1882 and is one of America’s oldest active polo clubs. Not only is this venue itself steeped in classic New England charm, but the surrounding landscapes are filled with lush greenery, charming stone walls, and walking paths that provide a picture-perfect backdrop.

This was our first wedding at the Myopia Hunt Club venue and I am so thankful to have discovered it! We loved the bridal suite with tons of natural light for getting ready photos. There were so many gorgeous spots for pictures around this historic club house too. After a first look surrounded by blooming rhododendrons, we explored the property with Emily and Tom for a few more portraits.
The Myopia Hunt Club, which is located on the North Shore in Hamilton, MA, has been around 1882 and is one of the oldest active polo clubs in America. Winding stone walls and lush grassy embankments were everywhere and made great backdrops for pictures. After portraits of Emily and Tom, guests begin gathering for an outdoor wedding ceremony in the courtyard.
Fleur Events created a floral utopia for this wedding. The ceremony arbor was decorated with trailing roses and greenery. Overflowing baskets of flowers lined the covered porch around the club house. Even the reception tent poles were wrapped with flowers! After Emily and Tom said their vows, guests were invited to indulge in the raw bar or grab a cocktail before heading into the reception tent for dinner and dancing.
We have photographed so many weddings with fantastic bands, but Rip Cord is really one of our favorites. The energy of this band just gets people moving! That said, I think Emily could’ve danced to silence. This girl had dance moves for days. She was on the dance floor all night, just shaking it relentlessly. It took every ounce of self discipline not to fill up entire camera cards of her epic dancing!
Thank You!
Huge thanks to Emily and Tom for trusting us to document such an amazing day for them, and thanks to all of the vendors who helped them create such a dream wedding. And a special shout out goes to Ana of North Shore Weddings by Ana. Working with Ana always feels like we’re having way more fun than should be allowed. This woman is professional, competent, calm, and really makes coordinating a wedding with 200 moving parts seem effortless. And just to prove how awesome she is, here we are in the photo booth feeling like we’ve won the job lottery getting to do what we do!
