Lareau Farm Inn – Waitsfield, VT Wedding Photography – Leda & Michael
Leda and Michael chose one of our favorite venues for their rustic outdoor wedding… the Lareau Farm Inn in Waitsfield, VT. This gorgeous property is tucked away in the Mad River Glen area, and a classic New England red barn and a fabulous Featherbed Bed and Breakfast down the road with plenty of room for guests! Leda and Michael met and fell in love in New York City. Their wedding announcement was actually featured in the New York Times!!
These two have such an honest and open respect for one another, it was inspiring to watch these two tie the knot during their traditional Jewish ceremony. Leda had one of the most gorgeous rustic wedding bouquets we’ve seen yet… and in size, it was truly a force to be reckoned with! We also adored Michael’s pink suit lining and stylish bow tie. Their dog, Lareau (it’s true – named for the wedding venue) was the ring bearer and even though she slept through most of the ceremony, she did a great job! ;)
Their reception was decorated with vintage glass bottles and wildflowers and they even had a super cool SNAP BRACELET table where different colors indicated how guests knew the couple. Who doesn’t love snap bracelets!?! They had the coolest idea of using certain numbers that had sentimental meaning in their lives for the table seating chart… really personalizing the event! Leda and Michael also did the Hora dance, which as photographers, we just love. :) Even their parents got up in chairs! The evening was capped off with a fireworks display and roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit. We had such a wonderful time at this wedding… we wish Leda and Michael the best!
