We love photographing weddings in New England. Nearly every weekend we are treated to diverse landscapes and scenic beauty that is awe inspiring. We are also lucky to have some of the most trusting couples in the world hire us to document such an important day in their lives. Kaitlin and James not only gave us free reign to do our thing behind the cameras, they were super calm and relaxed all day. Their ability to be completely in the moment allowed us to capture candid photographs that tell the story of their wedding day.

Leonhard’s Florist, based in Beverly, did a wonderful job with Kaitlin’s cascading bouquet. Although it was a serious arm workout, the trailing ferns and white flowers were a perfect fit with the backdrops at this venue. After wandering the property for portraits, Kaitlin and James joined guests for cocktail hour. Moraine Farm has one of the coolest outdoor cocktail hour spots we’ve ever seen. With a sweeping rock wall covered in moss, this outdoor space overlooks Lake Wenham.

A tented reception followed the cocktail hour, and we loved the canopy of twinkle lights leading guests to the tent! After a delicious dinner catered by the talented crew at Fireside, the DJ (Mike’s Music) asked everyone at their table to name a table “captain”. That person had to then swing their napkin over their head in an effort to win the table centerpiece. Eventually, this genius game got everyone out to the dance floor and the photos were priceless! Congratulations to these happy newlyweds. We hope you had a lovely honeymoon on Nantucket!
