Cristina & Alan's Topnotch Resort Wedding!

Cristina and Alan had the epitome of what we would call a rustic and romantic wedding in Stowe, VT. They had an outdoor ceremony, followed by an herb-themed tented reception at the Topnotch Resort. French linen napkins were wrapped with sprigs of fresh rosemary and burlap at each place setting, and Blomma Flicka created some amazing champagne colored floral arrangements with sage leaves that filled rustic wooden boxes as centerpieces. Cristina and Alan’s chairs were adorned with caligraphy style cutout wooden signs along with bunches of aromatic thyme. Simple birch tree sections were used to hold escort cards at the head table, and lighted marquis letters added some warmth to the guest book area.

Friends and family were very important to Cristina and Alan, and they incorporated some of those closest to them into the day in a very unique way. Instead of the traditional wedding party, these two had several couples stand up to offer marriage advice throughout the ceremony.

Cristina wore an amazing blush pink dress by Vera Wang, and after the ceremony she traded in her high heels for cowboy boots. She and Alan were happy to wander the property for bride and groom portraits–through wildflower fields, forest paths and even perching on rocks along the edge of a stream lined with rock cairns!
