Crane Estate Coastal Wedding in MA – Lauren & Nick

Lauren and Nick’s Crane Estate coastal wedding had a Great Gatsby vibe and was filled with the most majestic views! For several years, Lauren has visited this breathtaking venue and known that she wanted to have her wedding here. With an outdoor ceremony behind the Great House on Castle Hill, guests watched these two say their vows with the blue ocean behind them. A tented reception followed and the Soul City band capped off the night with dancing in the estate ballroom. We loved so many details from this wedding! From the 1937 Packard coupe to the gold candelabras on the dinner tables… there was so much beauty to document!

More about this Crane Estate Coastal Wedding:

After Lauren and Nick’s Hudson Valley engagement photography session last fall, we knew that these two were complete naturals in front of the camera. This couple has a magazine-worthy sense of style, and we knew their wedding would be stunning. Lauren prepared for the wedding day at Blue–Inn on the Beach in Newburyport, MA. This Inn had tons of natural beachy light that poured into the room as the girls did makeup and dressed for the wedding. Surrounded by bridesmaids and family, Lauren stepped into her Vera Wang “Isabel” wedding dress and looked radiant.

Nick and his groomsmen got ready at the Inn at Castle Hill, just down the road from the Crane Estate. With tunes from Phish playing in the background, these guys couldn’t stop laughing while telling stories from the good old days together. After Nick put on his suit, he was ready to get to the Italian Garden for the first look with his bride to be.

We had so much fun using the ancient remnants of this estate as backdrops for bride and groom photos. While capturing photos of these two walking hand in hand through ivy-covered stone arches, I couldn’t help feeling like we were lost in Europe somewhere! The Crane Estate is known for it’s rolling hills to the ocean, but truly, there are incredible spots for photos around every corner at this venue.

Congratulations to Lauren and Nick! We hope you had a wonderful time in Maine for the honeymoon!
