Celestial Wedding Inspiration – Anna & Greg

Anna and Greg hosted their Boston celestial wedding at the Lyman Estate in early June. This venue is set right in Waltham, MA, yet it feels like you are in the country! Filled with starry details, spaceship logos and deep hues of navy blue and gold tones, Anna and Greg went all out with the celestial theme. Anna wore a stunning modern wedding dress by BHLDN that we couldn’t take enough photos of! These two put so much of themselves into every part of the wedding day. From the handmade card that Greg gave Anna to carefully crafting the words of their ceremony, the day was such a beautiful representation of this couple.

Anna and Greg prepared for the day in Cambridge, MA. Anna and her bridesmaids had hair and makeup done at the luxurious Royal Sonesta hotel, while Greg spent the morning at Anna’s apartment with his groomsmen. They met at the Lyman Estate before the ceremony for for their first look and wedding party portraits.

There are so many lovely places for pictures around the Lyman Estate, but one of my favorite spots for quite moments is bridal suite. The natural light in that space is magical. From the moment I saw Anna’s modern wedding gown, I knew that we had to get a photo of her at the window of that suite! I am so glad we did too. With Orly Khon bouquets beside her, was one of my favorite photos from the entire day.

Having a celestial space themed wedding is amazing, but it was made more amazing by the fact that Greg actually worked in the aerospace industry. We loved all of the little details that tied this wedding together. Anna wore sparkling starburst pins in her hair, the invitations had a rocket ship logo, and they even had a swirling blue Galaxy wedding cake by Jenny’s.

After heartfelt toasts and dinner, guests didn’t waste any time getting down on the dance floor. Anna and Greg had curated the PERFECT playlist with their DJ of Beat Train Productions. Without fail, every time a song would end, guests would try to walk off the dance floor to catch their breath. Then the next song would start up, and they’d be pulled right back in again!
