Lauren & Bobby – Bishop Farm Summer Wedding

Lauren and Bobby’s Bishop Farm summer wedding felt like a dream. Everything went right, from the weather to the timeline! One of the things that truly stood out at this wedding was how personalized every detail was. Lauren created a day that was such a beautiful reflection of she and Bobby. We also loved how many local vendors were included in the day. Vanessa, of Tarrnation Flower Farm, did all of the gorgeous florals for the day. She is a true artist when it comes to flowers… as Lauren put it so well, “She is a flower whisperer!”.

More about Lauren and Bobby’s Bishop Farm summer wedding:

Although we have photographed several weddings at Bishop Farm, every one is different. Lauren put so much of herself into this wedding day and was a true honor to document all of it.

Lauren found her dress at BHLDN, but felt like it needed a bit more sparkle. Her late grandmother, her “Nonna”, taught her how to hand bead when she was little, and this was the perfect opportunity to honor her and give her dress that final touch it needed. Six hundred beads later, Lauren had the perfect wedding dress and said she felt like she had her Nonna with her on the wedding day.

In addition to being a beautiful place to get married, Bishop Farm makes the day so easy. With places for both the bride and groom to get ready for the day, everything can happen on site. The value of not having to travel between locations on your wedding day is immeasurable!

We loved Lauren and Bobby’s idea to read their vows to each other in the pine forest after their first look. This was such an incredible moment to document, but also, makes so much sense! Reading the vows to each other in a quiet, private space, where you can hear what your partner is literally vowing to do seems like the kind of thing that should become a tradition on the wedding day! Not to mention, it makes for some amazing and emotional photos.  :)

After a teary ceremony in the antique dairy barn on the farm, guests were invited into the barn for dinner and dancing. Maple Street Catering knocked it out of the park with a traditional pig roast and mouthwatering beef brisket. Lauren told us that guests were still emailing her weeks after the wedding to gush about the food!

Guests danced into the night thanks to Beat Train Productions and Lauren and Bobby headed off to an Alaskan honeymoon to celebrate their union. Congrats to these two lovely people who have so many adventures ahead as husband and wife!
