When Beth and Kevin first contacted us about photographing their Berkshires mountain wedding at the Bascom Lodge, we were intrigued. After a quick online search for this venue, I was awestruck at the beauty surrounding this rustic mountain lodge in Adams, MA.

Beth and Kevin chose to have an intimate wedding ceremony on the summit of Mt. Greylock. Just as the ceremony began, I dashed (barefoot!) up to the second floor of the lodge to capture an overall photo of the ceremony site surrounded by mountains. I think it’s one of my favorite photos of a ceremony ever!

Huge thanks to Beth’s close friend Tess for helping throughout the day. These two talented women are also visual artists–Beth is a documentary filmmaker and Tess is a portrait photographer based in Colorado. It’s always so flattering (and a bit terrifying) to photograph a wedding surrounded by such talented artists! Also, thanks to Maggie with By Emily B. for helping coordinate the day… smooth sailing!  :)
