Intimate Berkshire Botanical Garden Wedding in June

Laurie and Chris hosted their intimate Berkshire Botanical Garden wedding in June. We’ve heard wonderful things about this venue and thanks to these two newlyweds for officially introducing us to this hidden gem.

Although there was record heat for their mid-June wedding day, Laurie and Chris didn’t once complain about the temperature. After preparing for the day at a nearby Airbnb, Laurie met Chris at the garden for a first look. Arriving guests were invited into the Center House for selfies in front of the living wall! The outdoor ceremony was held in the Oval Garden, and guests enjoyed time to check out the flowers and outdoor sculptures.

More about this Berkshire Botanical Garden Wedding

Laurie and Chris used SO many amazing local vendors for their day, including close friends! Chris actually used to work at the garden and Laurie worked at Blantyre, so these two have some amazing connections with industry vendors. The couple’s good friend Zachary of Lake Placid Bartender was serving up drinks, and another good friend with Berkshire Thistle n’ Thorn did all of their flowers!

This venue had lots of incredible backdrops for photos. One of my favorites was the sunset light streaming through just at the entrance to the tented reception space in the Proctor Garden. I also loved all of the rustic buildings on site.

I always love venues that offer a unique guest experience, in addition to being a gorgeous wedding venue! The Berkshire Botanical Garden offers a very cool on-site art museum. There is also a beautiful botanical library inside of the center building. Guests can spend time before the ceremony or during the cocktail hour walking any of the numerous paths to explore the property. With rose gardens, intriguing sculptures and a beautiful little pond, there is so much for guests to enjoy at this venue.
