Sarah and Greg Beutenmiller were married at the gorgeous Les Bourgeois Bistro and Winery in Rocheport, Missouri earlier this month. Their outdoor ceremony overlooked the Missouri River and the Katy Trail bicycle path, and couldn’t have been more picturesque. Sarah and her best friend Sara Mercer created some super cool DIY projects to incorporate into the wedding. Instead of typical place cards, they made small pillows filled with lavender and hand stitched the names of guests on them. Every floral arrangement, from Columbia’s My Secret Garden, included feathers (even Sarah’s garter belt had a feather!). Bijou, the flower girl, came up with the amazing idea to hand out bags of “helicopters” or the winged seeds from trees to guests and after the couple said “I do,” everyone tossed the helicopters into the air around them. It was magical! We felt so lucky to be a part of Sarah and Greg’s amazing day, a huge thank you for reaching out to us from across the country! **UPDATE – Sarah and Greg’s full gallery is up!
