I recently made my first trip to LA to visit (and photograph) my little brother Chris and his girlfriend Stephanie. They live in Venice Beach, which surprisingly felt more like a small hipster town than anything I was expecting. With vintage thrift stores in every direction, and amazing restaurants lining the streets… I can see why people would choose to call this place home. We made a pilgrimage to Joshua Tree National Park on the weekend, and spent some time in Pioneertown at Pappy and Harriet’s. More pictures to come soon… but here are a few of my favorites… :)
