Well, after years of photographing weddings before we met each other (and subsequently fell crazy in love), Max and I have joined forced and become… DREAMLOVE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY. And, I immediately want to follow that up with, “Rustic wedding photography that isn’t nearly as cheesy as our name sounds!”
But seriously, if you have any name suggestions, pass them along to us. ;)
We are Max Bittle & Katie Barnes. Originally from Illinois, and Missouri, respectively, we found each other while working as newspaper photography interns at the Bellingham Herald in the great green state of Washington. We now live in a little red cabin in the woods of New Hampshire and seek out rustic and vintage inspired weddings to document with the artistry and love we feel in our own lives. We aren’t your typical wedding photographers. With degrees in photojournalism, we are trained to be ready to photograph a moment, before it even happens. You might call us… Jedi’s. (Is the plural of Jedi with an apostrophe?) Max has an eye for artistic compositions, while Katie is drawn to document details and closer photos of emotion.
We love dogs, especially our own great dane named Zelda. We try to go to the farmer’s market every Saturday, but at least once a month we sleep in and end up making waffles at noon. Max has an obsession with espresso and we even bought our own machine recently! Katie has been known to stay up until 2 am looking at ridiculously expensive shoes online. We both laugh out loud numerous times in the day and like to enjoy the beverages of our local brewery often.
