One thing we love about photographing weddings in New England is the beautiful scenery that we are lucky enough to document on a weekly basis. The Garrison in upstate New York has no shortage of amazing views, with it’s sweeping vistas of the Hudson River Valley below. Kristen and Drew were married on the outside patio at the Garrison, and stood in front of a gorgeous grapevine arbor to say their “I do’s”.  

They had a super cool idea for the guestbook–guests wrote messages to the couple on broken pieces of white marble, which Kristen and Drew will later create a mosaic table top with! Talk about a unique way to bring back the memories of your wedding day! One of Max’s favorite things about photographing the guys getting ready was watching Drew tie a knot in his tie that was unlike anything he’d ever seen before (and trust me, Max sees a LOT of ties tied).  Drew did an “Eldredge Knot” in his tie, and with the help of YouTube, it took him less than ten minutes to tie!
